Cross Stitch Bird House

This is a cross stitch bird house that I made for my sister . I made this for my sister 2 years ago now. I thought I would put it on my blog so you can have a look.

Pilot Station

This is the Pilot Station museum this is were all the artifacts are keep that was use at sea . There is some relay old stuff in there.

This is some more things at the museum. I think these are off a old ship.

This is a old boat and anchor this is on Julies tea towel as well . the only think that is missing from the tea towel is the batman bridge because that is not in George Town .I will have to go for a drive to get a photo of the bridge I will put a photo on my blog of the bridge later on.

Christmas Heart

With Christmas just around the corner . I made this lovely Christmas heart .

I made it to hang on my back door.

The Grand Old lady (The Grove)

This is the grand old lady her self. I love this old building . I have been through this building several times .It is called the The Grove .The Lady's that show you through the rooms dress in 1800 clothing .So you get a touch of what it relay was like. The dresses look so heavy .I didn't get any photo of what the Lady's were wearing . This is also on Julies tea towel as you can see I am working to a theme .I am showing all the places on Julies tea towel .

FAIRY PENGUIN NESTS

These are fairy penguin nests .The penguins make there nest in the gos because it has big Spike and it protects there young chicks from dog and other animals.

The penguins go back to the same nest every year .

The penguins are not nesting at moment .It is the wrong time of the year.I will try go get some photo to show every one later on in the year when they are nesting .

More on my town .This time we are going on a penguin tour .We have got a penguin colony .I have not been on the walk my self . It is like most thing you have in your town you now it there but you don't go and have a look . This is also on Julies tea towel .

LIGHT HOUSE HISTORY

I forgot to put this on with the light houses last night.This is a little more history on the light houses.About how they used to run and how they have change over the years.

OUR LOCAL LIGHT HOUSES!

Well somethings things about my Town.Low head is about five minutes from George Town but still a part of George Town . This is were our beaches are and our lovely Light houses as well .

This is a close up of our main light house. It has been revamped.

This is another photo of our main light house .This light house is on the tea towel that I sent to Julie for her birthday. This light house is about 150 year old .

This is light house # 2 just a small one .The building to the left of the light house is were I work .

This is light house # 3 this is just a bit bigger than number 2 .We are so luck to have 3 light houses so close to each other . I have got a lot more photo about my town so you will all have to keep checking my blog. The white light houses are the oldest ones which were built in the 1882 . These light's are called the leading lights and are still operational to this day.

NOT GREEDY

No I didn't eat all the fruit cheese .Here is a photo to show you that I am not greedy.But I did eat the rest last night. Yum Yum Yum !!!

Party For One

It has been a few week since I have blog . I brought this fruit cheese it is one of my favourite thing to eat . Also little bread stick and some other biscuits . I had a party for one .No I didn't eat all of it at once .Just most of it .LOL
