Well worth the trip to Queenstown to have a look through the museum . We could of spent all day looking through the museum but ran out of time there was just so much to see there. Have a look at the old sewing machine. We will go back some time and have another look in the morning in stead the late afternoon.

Glad you had a good time, sorry I cant see the pics may be the 18 is too much for my eyes.
I remember Queenstown museum! I was in Tasmania back in 99/00 for three weeks holiday. My Dad was born and rainsed in Hobart, so he knew where all the good spots are. Isn't it incredible being in the forest and then suddenly the landscape changes and it's that white-brown rock of the town? It's such a dramatic and quick change.
I have never been thru the museum, even tho I lived in Queenstown until 13 years ago. I intend to get back there one day and take the train trip. I remember riding the train to the Strahan Mount Lyell picnic as a kid. It was great fun.
I love to go through these types of museums!
