50th Anniversary Surprise Lunch

well yesterday it was mum and dad 50th wedding anniversary. We all meet at york cove to surprise mum and dad. We all meet in the lounge for some drink ,while my sister went and pick them up. They thought my sister was taking them out for lunch ,and the rest of us had forgotten about there 50th. This is most of the Fraser clan. My daughter could not make it . One of my sister daughter is a exchange student in France .We all had a very nice lunch followed by cake. We left the present to last. We all went back in to the lounge, and gave them there quilt they was so surprised. We all went back to mum and dads for some wine, Then we tyred the quilt on there bed the colours went very well with there room. well it was very lovely day we all had a good time together ... there is different photo on Sarah blog

Prairie Queen Blocks

It was Tereasa 50Th birthday on the 3 of March our on line group all made her some Prairie Queen block . These are the one I made for her .We only had to made one but I made 4. I did enjoy making these blocks. I have not blog for a few day as I have not had a computer as mine died. So it was of to the shop to buy a new one. Well I am still getting use to it. well I have got window vista boy it it different.I don't now weather I like it or not. To bad now I will have to get use to it.

5oth Anniversary Quilt !! Finished !!

YAY!! it is finished. Sarah and my self are so happy with the anniversary quilt. Sarah drop it of yesterday for me to do the binding. I got stuck into it last night and I have finished it. On Saturday 28th all the family are taking mum and dad out for lunch. That's when we will give them there anniversary quilt. This is not a real good photo of the quilt ...

Christmas Stocking

I started this Christmas stocking before Christmas last year . I finished it two week ago. It is a hatched and patched pattern .

I just love the rusty bell on the points of the stocking top.

Postcard

I have made this postcard for my niece that is an exchange student in France. I made it so she would have something to keep. I do hope that she like it ...

Hour Bag

I made this bag for my sons friend. She ask me to make her a bag with cat fabric. It was hard to sew at night with the black lining fabric in the bag .The lining fabric has cat verses on it .I cut the fabric out about a month ago and it has been sitting on my sewing table but it is finished now and ready to go to its new owner . This is another photo of the bag.

Car Quilt Finished

I started this quilt last year. I only had the binding to finish on my quilt for the back seat of my car. Yes i now I have been very slack . But it is finished now and I am very pleased with it. still have not put it in the car as yet ..LOL This is a close up photo of my care quilt..
