Car Quilt

I have sewn the strips together .I am very pleased with how it has turn out .I have put the borders on now as well. I am going to Sarah's to do the dovering on the week end. I will past another Photo on my blog when I have finished.

My family had a Xmas dinner for my niece

This is my niece Emily .Her mum had a Xmas dinner for her because she is going to France for 10 months . What a lucky girl . She leave's on the 2 September . So we all brought her presents I got her a Pandora charm .she also got some more Pandora charms .Her mum brought her a camera and a hair dryer she also got money of the family .We will all miss her good luck Emily...

new home

This book shelf I got of my son in law

It has been hand made out of scrap wood . It is ideal for my fabric . So I started sorting out all my fabric last night . I started stacking my fabric into the book shelf .I have got a lot more fabric to put in to the shelf but I will get it gone .Now I can find the fabric I am looking for . I use to keep them in a tub .When I went through the tub to look for a peace of fabric I would have a mess. It was going to end up on the tip so I have gave it a good home .

Fabric From Calico Crossroad

I went for a drive with DH on Tuesday over to Exeter .

We called in to calico crossroads .DH drop me of to look at some fabric.But Pauline and my self got talking and before long DH was back . So he decided to come into the shop while I was picking my fabric out .DH said he would go and sit in the car because picking fabric out was as boring as watching paint dry. This is the fabric I picked out. The brown with small flowers on it is for the binding for my car quilt ..

The brown I got for the backing and the green I got for the borders. I brought this fabric from Esme's one of the two shops that I love to get my fabric from and the other one is Calico Crossroad Country shop..

Cup Cake (Proud Boy)

My grandson and my self had a cooking day on Saturday. This is the icing made up in to colours .

This is Korrie so proud of his cup cake . He decorated then all by his self. We did have a mess but it was well worth it .I knocked the hundred and thousands on to the floor, boy was they hard to clean up.

This is his finished cup cake . We had fun eating then Yum...yum..yum.Korrie gave some away to our family.

Day Out Fishing

This is our Friends boat we have been look after it for 6 months . Well on Sunday we took the boat out fishing .Did not catch any fish but had a great day out on the beautiful Tamar River .
